What Size Dance Floor Do You need For Your Party?

The number of your guests will determine what size dance floor you need. The size you need is also influenced by how close you want your guests to dance. It is also determined by the sort of party atmosphere you want to create. In most cases guests will dance closer to each other rather than spread out. This is definitely the case if they know each other.If you want to create a better party atmosphere with more energy, we suggest 3 people per square metre. If you want more room to bust a move we suggest 2 people per square metre.It is really important to remember that not all your guests will dance. If they do it might not be all at the same time. If you count on 50% dancing at one time you won't go too big with your dance floor. Note the dance floor must be on a solid flat surface, not grass, soft deep carpet or pavers. If you require any type of base to be installed under the dance floor additional fees will apply. Our hire fee is for the dance floor and installation and removal on same booked day, returning to collect at another time will result in additional fee.
